Phlegmonosa angina, inflammation that secretes matter (s purulent), forming an abscess in the connective tissue surrounding the tonsils (tonsillectomy palate). The vomiting usually Streptococcus, Staphylococcus aureus and anaerobic bacteria as a complication of acute tonsillitis. The inflammation is most often unilateral. It produces severe pain that radiates to the ear, difficulty gape and usually a high fever.
Within a few days and mature abscess may drain spontaneously into the mouth or back of the throat. Life-threatening condition occurs when abscesses falls down inside the throat. The treatment is drainage of the abscess, either by cutting a hole in it or by puncture with a thick needle.
In some cases, it may be appropriate to remove the almond with the same (tonsillectomy). Repeated throat boils, it is advisable to remove the tonsils (tonsillectomy).
